LESSON TIMES:
Lessons are held once a week from the 2nd week of September to the 3rd of June.
There are no lessons during Winter Break, March Break, or statutory holidays.
Each lesson is either 30, 45, or 60 minutes, depending on your program or special requests. Please be on time for your lesson.
Summer lessons are available at a flexible schedule and reduced fee.
LOCATION:
In person lessons will be held at our home address. Online lessons will be via Skype.
SUMMER FEES: In Person - $21/half hour, Online - $20/half hour
FALL 2023 FEES: In Person - $22.50/half hour, Online - $21/half hour
PAYMENT POLICY:
Monthly payments are due by cash, cheque, or E-Transfer, on the last lesson of the month for all lessons received that month.
CANCELLED OR MISSED LESSONS BY STUDENT: A cancelled or missed lesson by the student for any reason will be subject to a $10 fee.
CANCELLED LESSONS BY INSTRUCTOR: A cancelled lesson by the instructor will be considered an unpaid lesson.
PRACTICE: Students are highly encouraged to practice to get the most out of their lessons. We understand that families are busy and believe in flexibility when it comes to practicing.
INSTRUMENT: Piano students should have an instrument to practice on at home. Drum students will need a practice pad if they do not have a drum kit.
RECITALS: Students will be encouraged to regularly participate in studio recitals.
FESTIVAL: Participation in music festival is optional.
ROYAL CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC EXAMS: Participation in RCM exams is optional.
CONSERVATORY CANADA EXAMS: Participation in CC exams is optional.
